time will tell

I'm not ever politically outspoken, however today it must be done. In my opinion, it is a very sad day and scary time ahead for Queensland. Not because the LNP are now in Government, I couldn't agree more something had to change, but because the LNP have taken a sweeping win of 77 seats to date of the 89 seats of our sunshine state.
How I understand it, it means we no longer have an opposition and this means one party has complete control of our state. An awful, awful place for us to be in. It means we have a party that is owned and dictated by big mining companies and it is those that now control our beautiful state.  It means we have a media body which is controlled by billionaires that control our new government.
What newspaper do we read to get a fair view?
What happens to those of us who are not in mining?
How will the Government ever be held accountable for anything that happens if we don't have an opposition to question and challenge issues?
Is our premier Campbell Newman or Clive Palmer?
Does Campbell Newman possess humility in any form?

Time will tell. Lets hope my doubts are proven very wrong.
