art in the first decade

We went to the 21st Century: Art in the first decade exhibition at GOMA last weekend. There was so much to see and it's all free, brilliant. My favouriteCéleste Boursier-Mougenot's From here to ear installation. He has created something truly peaceful and harmonic. It's really worth the trip.

warmth, inviting, scrumptious

This place is irresistible. I wanted to jump into their website when I stumbled upon it at eatdrinkchic. There's nobody that can resist fresh baked bread, creamy coffee, organic food, art and music. Outerlands in San Francisco say they are a gathering place for sea goers who seek warmth, shelter, food and fellowship! Scrumptious, scrumptious, scrumptious.

Sibella Court's Ecetera interior design bible has been on my bedside table for some time now. I love reading it at night as I go to bed or on the weekend when I wake up and can't seem to pull myself out of the cosy covers. I will post some inspiring pictures from it later. I just discovered on the weekend after visiting her website that Sibella is bringing out a Stylist's Guide to NYC. I am super excited about this and so, so, so hope I can get my mittens on a copy before I go. As you may know I'm visiting NYC soon for 6 weeks and I just have to have this book with me.

resisting the temptation

Every year they seem to come out earlier and earlier. They're are so pretty and I always find myself in the easter aisle in the supermarket resisting the temptation to take one home. I would if I could leave them there just to look at!

beach and stormy

After the Annie Leibovitz exhibition last weekend I jumped in a taxi to Bondi, it was so dark and stormy by the time I got there, I just had to take these pictures. Brrrrr.

cosy wears for a sunny city autumn

We don't get much of an autumn/winter in Brisbane compared to the rest of the world.  Lucky us, we can purchase online Zara's summer collection to wear now. Bless Brisbane.

sweet lessons

My dear girlfreinds Marni and Ais from The Foundation - lessons in makeup have now launched their online store. I'm so excited for them. The products they have selected are simply gorgeous to use and they even customise foundation for you. If you haven't already had a lesson, do yourself a favour and book one in soon with your girlfriends. It's so much fun and you are introduced to some amazing quality makeup, that is value for money and isn't overpriced like so many brands out there.
