some lovely flowers for you today

Once again, I haven't posted any flowers for a while and you all know how I love to post flowers every now and then. Today is definitely a day for flowers, it's Friday, you can admire them all weekend. I love these petals, they look like the sun has been shining for days and takes me to summer. We all want to be taken to summer at the moment, IT"S COLD, well for Brisbane it's cold. We're not great in cold weather up here.

Only 1 more sleep until we are in Vanuatu for my hubby's company convention. I have been dreaming about some yummy warm weather and it's finally here. We're staying at le lagon resort, I'll take some photos for you. And have a mocktail too.

Jellyfish in Brisbane with some of our besties on Sunday night. Wow the food is incredible, service impeccable, atmosphere quirky and fun. Highly recommended in my books. We had been to Aria around 2 weeks ago with some other dear friends and although the food was lovely, my hubby's steak was a bit tough though, it just had no atmosphere. We all felt like we were in a big hotel restaurant and should have been wondering up to our rooms after dinner for our flights the next day. Maybe I missed something though as it has an amazing reputation. If you have to choose, it has to be Jellyfish. Mmmm

I have a picnic basket similar to this one on lay-by, have for a little while, whoops need to go and get it. Speaking of which can't wait to pick it up and plan some yummy picnics with friends. What shall we bake?

This photo reminds me of the wildflowers in Western Australia. Did you know they have the most incredible wildflower season. Mum and dad have a photo of me when I was 4 sitting among the most incredible field of wildflowers near our farm, I can only vaguely remember it. I would love to revisit them now and take photos of my hubby running through them.

being truly inspired

I started my Blog e-course on Friday with decor8 blogging your way. I can't tell you how excited I am about this little project in my life. I've been looking around for a long time for some way to expand my knowledge in this area and be inspired and this is perfect. Who know's where this will take me. Dream, dream, dream.
